LAS VEGAS!!

Okay. It's been a month since our last update and it has been exactly a month today since we left for Las Vegas for a family get together. It was for my granny's (Dana) 85th birthday party. My parents (Dana) were kind enough to fly everyone down and my (Dana's) aunt Joanne was a stellar hostess by letting us stay with her the first night and then arranging basically 1 bedroom apartments for each young family. It was fun to see my brothers and sisters (this includes the in-laws). The only person missing from the party was Michelle. It sucked but she is a dedicated teacher. Who are we kidding. They wouldn't give her the time off. I am sure she is an amazing teacher though.

The best part was watching all the kids interact and meeting my niece Hadley for the first time. She decided to escape from the womb last summer just after we left to come home to Nelson.

I think one of the funniest moments was when we pulled into my aunt driveway and Chloe would yell out 'LAS VEGAS!'. I think she thought my aunts was actually Las Vegas.

Chloe also spent the first night away from us with grandma and grandpa. She got to snuggle with grandpa all night while grandma snuggled with Hadley. We hit the town that night. It was fun.

Here are some shots from the trip. Some pretty funny one's. Check out the video using the video link to the right. It's pretty entertaining.

It looks like you had a great time, Chloe!
Hi Guys: I can't believe the trip is over. I wanted it to last a little longer just so we could spend more time with Chloe. Loved the pictures and am trying to figure out how to get to see her again soon.

love you
