Photo Recovery and clever Chloe
I just got the good news that a local PC company was able to recover Chloe's photos off of our messed up hard drive. Stevland at Nelson PC has made my day by recovering the majority of Chloe's photos. Thanks for finding the data Stevland. I can now start work on making a video of Chloe's first 2 years. Hopefully my uncle Rick will be able to assist me with the technical stuff since he does that for a living.
On another note Chloe is starting to show her independence, memory and cleverness (is that word?). She seems to think band-aids make everything better. There is rarely blood or scratches involved but she wants her Dora band-aids for everything. Last night i heard the bathroom door close. She was not calling for me so i went up to investigate. To my surprise, she had picked up her stool, closed the door and used the stool to climb up to the shelf where we keep her band-aids which is behind the door. Now you may think this is a one time occurence...wrong. This morning she requested a band-aid after doing something to her hand; i don't know what but i inspected her hand and it was fine. So i continue making breakfast telling her we can't use band-aids for everything because they are expensive. She turned around and made her way up the stairs. Karen had just got out of bed and saw her walking up the stairs with a look of determination and asked what happened as she walked into the kitchen. I said 'she wants a band-aid again'. It was then i realized she had made her way into the bathroom again. I told Karen to go take a look and Chloe was up on her stool grabbing a band-aid again. We both laughed.
Never a dull moment with Chloe around seems to be the case these days. She is very interactive and is starting to really string words/sentences together. It's pretty cool. The best is when she just blurts out 'love you daddy' or 'love you mommy'.
Well, that is it for now. We will probably have some photos uploaded by the weekend to catch up with what has been happening with our little monkey. We have 150 photos to sift through once our computer is back up and running and we transfer the photos from our camera.
